Wanted: Experienced live-out caregiver/companion for elderly couple in Bronxville home.
Schedule: Tuesday– Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m., occasional additional hours; job starts now and lasts until mid-December 2009, may resume in April 2010.
Qualifications: Must be extremely honest, compassionate, and reliable with good conversational skills and positive attitude. Must be a licensed and capable driver; references required.
Responsibilities: Assisting with daily hygiene and dressing, organizing and administering medications, transporting and accompanying to medical and other appointments, accompanying on errands and activities (shopping, movies, etc.), preparing meals, light cleaning, assisting with physical therapy and other exercises at home, help with computer. Location walking distance from Bronxville train station.
